Corporate History

Tracing Omni Data's journey and Paradyme 360's corporate evolution.

Omni Data: Origins and Growth (1999–2020)

Omni Data LLC was established in 1999 in West Haven, Connecticut. From the outset, Omni Data’s mission was to design and deploy intelligent, customized solutions that safeguard people, assets, data, and facilities. In its early years, Omni Data focused on networking infrastructure and structured cabling while gradually expanding into physical security systems. The company became known as a boutique network solutions provider specializing in physical access security and network infrastructure integration. By working closely with clients to build seamless, trouble-free networks, Omni earned trust across a range of industries – including local government, K-12 schools, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, and healthcare. This broad industry experience meant that Omni Data could tailor security and IT solutions to environments from municipal buildings to multi-dwelling residential complexes.

Over the next two decades, Omni Data set a high bar for technical expertise and in-house capability. All field engineers and technicians obtained relevant state licenses and manufacturer certifications, enabling Omni to execute projects without relying on outside subcontractors. The company partnered with top-tier technology vendors (such as Aruba, Hanwha, LenelS2, Bosch, Milestone, and others) to ensure quality and reliability in every installation. As security technology evolved, Omni Data continuously broadened its capabilities – adding advanced IP video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire alarm systems, and cloud-managed access control to its portfolio. Notably, Omni Data has been trusted by clients to modernize critical infrastructure: for example, in 2022 it upgraded the network backbone for an entire public school district in Clinton, Connecticut, migrating aging category-5 wiring to a high-speed, wireless-enabled infrastructure. Such case studies illustrate Omni’s core strength in data integration – unifying cameras, sensors, and access controls over secure networks that administrators can monitor and manage centrally. By the early 2020s, Omni Data had grown to an organization with dozens of employees and an annual revenue in the multi-millions, all while maintaining a hands-on, client-focused culture. Every project – whether a city-wide municipal security upgrade or a single-building access system – was approached with the same commitment to “providing smart, leading-edge systems that deliver an unsurpassed level of safety”. This client-centric philosophy laid a strong foundation as Omni looked to expand its reach beyond the Northeast.

Paradyme360 (Paradyme Secure LLC): Origins and Evolution (2001–2020)

Paradyme360’s story began in 2001, when a firm called Global Security Products, Inc. in Miami, Florida started by targeting small businesses and residential clients, but quickly gained a reputation for tackling complex security challenges in South Florida’s commercial and high-rise real estate markets. Over “more than a decade” of growth, Global Security Products evolved into the brand Paradyme (later known as Paradyme360) to better reflect the company’s comprehensive capabilities. (The formal corporate entity, Paradyme Secure, LLC, was established in 2020 as part of this evolution, although the business was and is commonly known as Paradyme360 in the industry.) Schwartz noted that the original name sounded like a product distributor, whereas “Paradyme” signaled a forward-thinking, full-service integration company. Under the Paradyme banner, the company became one of South Florida’s most respected providers of integrated fire and security solutions with a philosophy unchanged from its inception: examine security needs from every angle and eliminate the risks others overlook.

From its base in Miami, Paradyme grew into a full-spectrum life safety and security integrator. The firm worked with only the best equipment brands and kept all design and installation work in-house, ensuring top quality and confidentiality for clients. Where off-the-shelf solutions fell short, Paradyme leveraged its team’s strong electrical engineering background to invent custom hardware and software – a hallmark of its approach. This commitment to innovation led to a number of notable successes. For instance, Paradyme developed a customized surveillance network with two-way audio, remote video monitoring, and perimeter intrusion detection to protect a Lexus dealership’s multi-million dollar car inventory – a system that directly led to the capture of intruders during a break-in, preventing costly losses. In another case, at the luxury Trump Royale condominium tower, Paradyme engineered a wireless early-warning life safety system (at the owner’s request) that passed rigorous fire department tests and saved the developer hundreds of thousands of dollars in compliance costs, helping deliver the project on time. Paradyme’s reputation also extended to critical infrastructure and government facilities: it was entrusted with securing the National Palace of Haiti (installing perimeter fortification, duress alarms, and intrusion systems for the presidential complex) and outfitted Miami-Dade County’s Public Defender’s offices with comprehensive access control and surveillance systems. By the 2010s, Paradyme’s client list included high-profile names like CNN/Turner Broadcasting, Trump Grande Ocean Resort, and numerous upscale condominium developments, reflecting the company’s status as a regional leader in advanced security integration. Paradyme was led to a position at the forefront of South Florida’s low-voltage security industry – designing, installing, and maintaining complex systems that combined video surveillance, biometric access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarms into unified platforms. Internally, Paradyme grew to about 50 employees by the mid-2020s, while never wavering on its promise of “person-to-person support” and direct access to decision-makers for its clients.

Parallel Paths and Shared Vision

Although Omni Data and Paradyme operated 1,300 miles apart, by 2020 their trajectories and values had much in common. Each company was a trusted security systems integrator in its region – Omni Data in the U.S. Northeast and Paradyme in the Southeast – known for technical excellence, quality workmanship, and end-to-end service. Both organizations emphasized holistic solutions that combined physical security with IT networking. Omni Data, for example, specialized in “physical access systems that incorporate key card systems, IP video, and other management systems – all tied together through a secure pathway to the cloud”. Paradyme likewise prided itself on looking at “fire and security needs from every angle,” integrating alarms, surveillance, access control, and automation in intelligent ways. Importantly, both companies insisted on doing things the right way – using top-tier equipment, keeping critical processes in-house, and standing behind their work 100%.

This alignment in culture and capabilities set the stage for collaboration. By the early 2020s, clients were increasingly seeking unified solutions that spanned physical security and data networking, a trend both Omni Data and Paradyme were ideally suited to address together. Each brought complementary strengths: Omni Data offered deep expertise in enterprise networking, wireless infrastructure, and data center integration, while Paradyme contributed specialized know-how in fire alarm systems, large-scale surveillance, and security electronics design. Both companies had experience serving demanding verticals like government agencies, educational institutions, commercial real estate, healthcare facilities, airports, and critical infrastructure sites. It became clear that joining forces would allow them to serve these markets on a larger scale and with an even more comprehensive end-to-end portfolio.
